I have known Steve for approximately five years and worked closely with him on a professional basis for three years. During this time, I have found Steve to be highly capable, intelligent, and possessed of the utmost integrity. By way of example, Steve was a key force in reforming the accounting and compliance practices of a non-profit company that we both served as directors of. This work involved a careful review of past transactions and record keeping practices and, ultimately, revamping the entire accounting system of the entity. The process was challenging, to say the least, and involved a great deal of substantive accounting work as well as educating stakeholders and management about the systems he implemented. Throughout this process, which was at times difficult, Steve was a consummate professional and worked tirelessly for the good of the organization. I would recommend Steve’s services to anyone.

Starting in 2012, I volunteered along side Steve at a 501(c)(3) non-profit. While serving together as board members, I was impressed with Steve's acumen and organization as Finance Department Lead and Treasurer. So much so that, when I was asked to step up and run for board President the following year, retaining Steve as our Treasurer was one of my few requirements before agreeing. His leadership and ability were a core part of the formula that set us up for the single most successful year before or since. Steve has earned both my trust and my respect as a capable professional.

Steve worked as a Senior Financial Analyst and Project Manager under my direction, as a part of the team managing the finances for the multi-billion dollar LAUSD School Renovation Program. His position required completion of many varied special projects, some of them quite difficult. Steve was successful due to his strong analytical and management skills, as well as his determination to complete a project in spite of what were on occasion, significant roadblocks. His performance was exemplary. I would highly recommend Steve on both a professional as well as personal level.
